The Hollies Country Cottages are located in the lovely town of Burgh Le Marsh in Lincolnshire, near Skegness. Although it is officially classified as a town, there is very much a village feel to Burgh Le Marsh.

The high street is a short walk away providing many conveniences such as pubs, shops, a bakers, hair dressers and an antiques centre to name a few. If you are looking to make use of the fantastic refurbished kitchen facilities at The Hollies Country Cottages you might want to visit the local co-op store opposite Dobson’s Mill and Visitors Centre.

There is ample parking available in Burgh Le Marsh outside the shops but more so in the market square where the public toilets can also be found by the Fleece Inn.

The White Hart Pub & restaurant, a short walk into the village. Serves great meals and beers.

Croft Spa – Private Swimming Pool Hire, with hot tub and sauna box, well worth the visit, great for young children especially those with special needs who prefer a quieter swimming environment. Natureland Seal Sanctuary – On the Skegness sea front the seal sanctuary has plenty to see

Skegness Aquarium – ALso on the sea front next to the Clock Tower. Well worht a visit. Check out planetoffers.co.uk to see if they have a family pass offer, it will save you a tenner or so.

The Village Church Farm – See how we used to live in the olden days from Victorian rooms, Militaria displays, old farming machinery and more. Entry fee is by donation and ideal if you have a large family. They have a nice cafe with toasties, hot drinks, and breakfasts.
